Save the Abraham Smith House

Many members of our community are hopeful that they and the current owner of the Smith House can reach an agreement on the preservation of the house and the land.

7.27.21 Smith House Status

Since our discussions began, Mr. Flory has been working diligently with us to make sure that the project can move forward in a very positive way.

So far many people have stepped up to assist in saving  this house by adding their names to our survey. We now have over 200 votes in favor of saving the Smith house.

Further discussions will continue with the goal of saving this important piece of local history. If you are interested in being part of the process, please reach out to us at putnamvalleyresidentscoalition@yahoo.com  with your name, contact information and any expertise or interest that would be relevant to this project.

Please consider a fully tax deductible donation this year to PVRC. Although our work is accomplished by volunteers, we need your financial support to help us cover the cost of overhead. An annual gift of $15 will sustain our operating costs and allow us to keep you informed on our town government, special events and issues that affect where we live, locally and regionally.
