Save Peekskill Hollow Road update 10/7/09

Preservation of this historic and scenic road is now being reviewed by the Putnam County legislature.

After a successful petition campaign, PVRC assisted in the move by our Town Board to write a recommendation to the
County, to preserve the road from unnecessary development that would impair it's scenic and historic value. The county is now in the process of writing a law to preserve county roads including Peekskill Hollow Road.
